Directed by Mostafa Mehraban, the 13-minute flick tells the story of Rasoul who has to deliver a cradle to his martyred friend’s widow.
With Rasoul returning from the southern war zone to the northern part of the country, his wife Laya plans on going back to the war zone with him.
The cradle becomes an excuse for Rasoul to reject his wife’s request.
The short film has gone on screen at global events such as the 2019 New York’s Montauk Film Festival and the 5th Reading Film Festival, both in the US.
The Jehlum Short & Long Film Festival aims to support and promote photography and fresh filmmaking talents.
This edition of the event is scheduled for May 10, 2020.
